OS series Light sensor

Description

OS series is the retro-reflective photoelectric sensor for passage detection of a detection target in the automatic stamping. It outputs signal when a detection target pass between sensor unit and reflector. Install it to exit-side of die, chute or belt conveyer. The device is connected to our malfunction detector PS-682, PS-662, PS-661, PS-104, PS-101 and all.

From May 21, 2023, the production of "Side type" for panel direction and "PNP output" for sensor output type has been end of life.

Features

Compact design
- Downsizing maximum 50% compare to our conventional product.
Sensitivity improvement
- Decrease an influence of ambient light by employing modulated radiation system. And maintain stable sensitivity for long-term use because of automatic adjusting function.
- Moreover, it can detect smaller detection target because of package density of light emitting and receiving elements is 1.3 times as many as our conventional product.
Presence/Absence detection
- Presence/Absence detection which our conventional product did not have is added. Therefore, it can detect a detection target left over within an effective area of detection.
Digital display
- Adjusting sensitivity changed from existing dial system to digital display. Easy to control and cut down both setting mistake and adjusting man-hours.

- It is possible to change sensitivity and operate function settings from our malfunction detector. (Only the device compatible with remote operation)

- You can choose All-in-one-type and Separation-type. All-in-one-type is that sensor unit and reflector are in same bracket plate. Separation-type is that install sensor unit and reflector separately.
* signal output type is NPN output.
* Maximum 1m of detecting distance. (Only separation-type)

Front type can be installed neatly even in a narrow place because the direction of cable connection is the same as the optical axis.
