PS-781 Digital Cam
Description
The digital cam "PS-781" is a device that compares the signal from the incremental rotary encoder attached to the rotary shaft of the press machine with the set value and outputs the signal as well as the rotary cam.
Since it has a built-in AC/DC dual-use SSR output, the connected power supply can be used with either AC or DC.
It can be connected to a personal computer or PLC by Ethernet compatibility.

Feature Description
This device calculates the angle by A/B phase input from the encoder, and sets the rotation angle to 0° by Z phase input, which is a signal representing 0°.
Cam output control for each channel is performed according to the calculated angle, control method and output control value for each channel.
Cam output control methods include [Angle control], [Time control], and [Run control].
Angle control
The output control values for [Angle control] are [ON angle] and [OFF angle].
When the device angle and [ON angle] match, the cam output turns ON, and when the device angle and [OFF angle] match, the cam output turns OFF.
Time control
The output control values for [Time control] are [ON angle] and [Timer time].
When the device angle and [ON angle] match, the cam output turns ON and stays ON for the [timer time].
Run control
The output control values for [Run control] are [Operating angle (time)] and [Extension time].
Cam output turns ON when encoder signals exceeding [Operating angle] or [Operating time] are input continuously.
When the encoder signal stops, the cam output turns OFF after the [Extension time] has passed.
Used when you want to output a signal equivalent to the clutch signal.
